Gloucestershire Disability Fund is a grant-giving charity whose purpose is to support people living with disability in Gloucestershire by helping them through life’s challenges.  Run by a committed team of trustees and two staff, many with lived or professional experience of disability themselves, we meet monthly to consider individual and organisation applications for our grants. In the case of our new Disability Grants for Individuals, we award funding for items or services which meet our eligibility criteria and where there is a clear, direct and specific link to the applicant's disability.

Where possible, we work with other grant-making organisations. We endeavour also to develop strong links with education, health and social care professionals, other agencies and charities that can refer potential grant recipients to us.  If you would like to discuss a future partnership with us or invite one of our trustees to speak at a meeting, please get in touch. We would be pleased to discuss any proposal that increases awareness of our grant programmes, and so enhance opportunities for people with disability.

By the very nature of our work, we are committed to equal opportunities for all. We consider each grant application according to its merits and in line with our grants guidance.
