The Gloucestershire Disability Fund is a registered charity and grant-making organisation with a focus on physical, sensory and learning disabilities.
Since becoming a grant-making organisation, GDF's trustees have used their professional and personal knowledge and experience of the day-to-day challenges arising from disability, and the stress that this can add to family life. The charity has, over time, awarded more than £1 million in grants to individuals, charities and other not-for-profit organisations to enhance the lives of those affected by disability and who live in Gloucestershire.
The charity does not engage in fundraising activities and is reliant on the dividend income from its investments. All investments are subject to the ups and downs of the financial market. From time to time, this may reflect in the level of awards we can make in any given year.
