See below what some of our Grant recipients say about us and what some of them have achieved with a little help from us!

Among many other grants, we have supported a young lady to pursue her college course in textile and design and provided a new washing machine for a family struggling to cope with the laundry, due to their son's disability and night-time incontinence.

Previous grants to organisations/groups have helped to fund a much needed replacement people carrier for children at The Milestone School, Gloucester and improvements to facilities at the Greenwood Therapeutic Horticulture Centre at Bushley.

“Thank you so much for  the funding you gave towards my wheelchair, I am thrilled. It has given me freedom to go out again.”

Mark Lake

"It has now been 12 months since we received funding from GDF to support the developement of Boccia for disabled people. A huge amount has been accomplished due to the funding. Thank you for your kind support”

Active Gloucestershire

“GDF is fantastic. Run by a group of wonderfully supportive and kind individuals, without whom I wouldn’t have been able to continue with my studies. They were understanding of my disability and extremely encouraging when it came to my academic aspirations.”

Keely O’Shaughnessy.
